1st corinthians, 13th chapter

1st vers
through i speak with the tongues
of men and of angels, and have not love,
i am become as sounding brass,
or a tinkling cymbal.

2nd vers
and though i have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries,
and have not love, i am nothing.

4th vers
love suffereth long, and is kind;
love envieth not; love is not puffed up,]

5th vers
seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil, doth not behave itself unseemly;

6th vers
rejoiceth not in iniquity,
but rejoiceth in the truth;

7th vers
she beareth all things,
she believeth all things,
she hopes all things, she endureth all things.

8th vers
love never faileth:
but where there be prophecies, they shall fail;
whether there be tongues, they shall cease;
whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9th vers
for we know in part, and we prophecy in part,
but love is perfect and never faileth.
